Serves as many as you want!

Ready in 15 min

I’ve seen it done and laughed about it myself until I made one! Delicious and surprisingly filling.

  • 1/4 lb burger patty
  • Whole leaf lettuce
  • minced onion
  • peppercorn grinder
  • any of your normal condiment/toppings

It’s simple, it’s easy, and its messy! Just remember to dry your lettuce very well after rinsing and wrap this thing up in some parchment paper or foil if you need to. Although, I didn’t have to do this.

Step 1

Fry up your patty! Med heat with minced onion and pepper. Add mushroom if you like. Flip your patty in 3 minute intervals until no red or pink is seeping from the top of the burger.

Step 2

Peel off a couple leaves of lettuce, clean dry and set on a paper towel to gather any leftover moisture.

Step 3

Add any condiments of your liking.

Step 4

Wrap the top piece of lettuce over the burger and condiments and the bottom piece over the top piece. I suggest to add a couple toothpicks to hold it together or wrap it.

Grab yourself two of these huge leaves of lettuce. Fold and wrap them around your burger and condiments. You may even want to use a toothpick or two to help hold everything together.
